Can you believe that this poor women has been married to me for more than 30 years? She has stood by me through thick and think and I think she is absolutely beautiful!
When this picture was taken we were riding in the North Georgia mountains. The ranch we were on is located very near Brasstown Bald, which is the highest peak in Georgia. The area is absolutely gorgeous and the fine folks who own the Trackrock Stables are awesome. Jan and I have been riding at Trackrock for more than 10 years. We always have a great time and the horses are well trained and very easy to work with.
They ranch offers one hour and two hour rides. All rides are guided by ranch employees and both rides include plenty of mountain trail riding and a couple of river crossings as well. All in all, the area is truly wonderful, Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter. Our personal perforance is Fall and Spring. The air is cooler and there is less humidity to contend with. Summer can be hot and you have to occasionally deal with the afternoon thundershowers. Winter riding can be really fun if you pick the right day.
