Alabama Crimson Tide - Weekend At Tuscaloosa

Alabama Crimson Tide Football
Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama last weekend and attended my very first Alabama Crimson Tide football game. I have been to University of Georgia football games, Atlanta Falcon games and a number of games for other programs. I can honestly say that sitting in the Alabama stadium and watching the Crimson Tide play was incredible. Folks, there were more than 100,000 screaming, died in the wool, Crimson Tide faithful in that stadium. The sites and sounds were just phenominal. The poor Nittany Lions from Penn State simply had no chance against the bigger, stronger and faster Alabama players. Needless to say the Crimson Tide won going away.

It was incredibly cool to see Joe Paterno still out on the field with his players. What a legend in the game! He was all over that sideline watching his team and giving encouragement to his players. I am so happy to have gotten the chance to see him one last time. The coolest thing was watching him leave the field during halftime. The entire Crimson Tide fan base stood and applauded him. Pretty classy thing to do Alabama. Nice Job!

Here are some photos of the game and stadium for you to enjoy.
