Amicalola Falls is an incredibly beautiful and diverse place. The state park is situated just 8.5 miles below Springer Mountain, which is the Southern Terminus for the Appalachian Trail. The park offers incredible beauty, hiking, trail running, mountain biking and more. I use this park to train for mountain trail running. There are miles and miles of Appalachian approach trails that offer some lung crushing uphills and some quad busting downhills. If you are going to run on the trail, you had better come equipped with some sturdy trail running shoes. I use Vasque and Salomon depending on the distance and terrain.
I use the park and the trails as a get away from the real world and as a means of re-connecting with God, Christ and life in general. If I don't answer my phone during the day, you may take from that I might have slipped off for an early morning or mid day trail run or mountain bike ride. I love my work as CEO for Flyline Search Marketing and Flyline Media Group. I also understand though that I have an obligation to enjoy the life that God has given me. So do you!
