Well, you never know what you are going to run into when you go to Amicalola State Park for dinner. My wife and I decided to take some time on Monday of last week to go have some quite time and dinner at the Amicalola Park State Lodge. What to our wondering eyes should appear, but, the Vampire Diaries crew and their filming crew. Along with dinner, we got a sneak preview of a sunset scene that the two stars were shooting for an upcoming episode in early April. Here are some additional photos of the session. I have to tell you that the two stars toughed it out in some pretty tough conditions as the sun was shining and the temperature had krept up to almost 72 degrees. They looked hot, well yeah of course they were hot! I meant, they looked as if the sun wasn't agreeing with them. Well at least not the one that plays the part of the Vampire.

The views from the top of the falls are phenominal and the film crew picked the premier spot in the park to film their romantic sunset scene. Can't wait to see the actual episode.

Oh Did I Mention The Stars Were Hot? You Be The Judge

Let it just be said that these two young people seem to be doing alright for themselves. Now that they have filed at Amicalola, I am going to expect to see them up on the Appalachian Trail when I go run. They both look fit and I am sure they would enjoy some serious trail running at the park.
